A virtual Special Capinet Meeting was held on Monday,20 April 2020,to among other things,deliberate on the consolidated report on the socio-economic recovery plan post the Covid-19 National Lockdown.

During the virtual Special Capinet Meeting help last Wednesday,the chairperson of the five clusters-(1) Economic Sectors, Investment, Employment and Infrastructure Development;(2) Governance,State Capicity and Institutional Development; (3) Social Protection, Community and Human Development; (4) International Cooperation,Trade and Security; and (5) Justice, Crime Prevention and Security-were directed to revisit their submission and consolidate them into one report.

This was the third meeting of the Cabinet in one week and on the 19 April 2020 The President co-ordinating council agreed to the gradual easing of regulations after the lockdown period in to an effort containing the Covid-19 pandemic.

 The consolidated submission aim to guide the country on the practical ways to reignite economic growth and also proposes government intervention to deal with the socio-economic hardship caused by the Covid-19 national lockdown, particularly the absence of the economic.

Cabinet was satisfied with the proposals presented on the 20 of April on how to assist the country interms of Socio-economic measures.
